Just wanted to update our neglected blog, and put some pictures from our marvel party. x

Anniversary

On the 26th of this month we celebrated our anniversary, (unlike last year we didn't have another wedding)

Although the last 2 months have been pretty tough, the things we're focusing on are the happy endings, like Owen's coming home cake, Roberts 4th birthday (just after his chicken pox), Jude's first birthday, and so much more. Thank you all for your prayer it looks like the worst is over.

More Chicken Pox

Alice has super bad chicken pox now, much worse then we had anticipated... please pray for her healing, and that they stop spreading, also please pray that when Owen gets it, that it will be mild.

Chicken Pox

It's been just one month since Owen had his accident...2 days ago he began to take steps on his own. 2 days ago I (Amber) came down with chicken pox. I guess God sent some thing wonderful (Owen walking) to make the terrible thing durable.
Anyway please pray for me, this is the most pain I've ever been in physicaly. It is just agony, there is not one place on me where there are not spots. I have them in my eyes, ears, scalp, mouth and gums...just everywhere and its toture, please pray desperately for me. His hand is not shortened that it cannont save...Thanks.

Owen is Home

After 3 weeks in hospital, Owen has been allowed to come home. Although the bone is healing and the doctors have said it would be good for him to start walking on it, his leg muscles are very weak and need building up. Thank you for your prayer for his recovery, please continue to pray that his muscles will become stronger and that the bone will continue to heal. x

Update on Owen

Thank you all for your prayer for Owen, he is doing much better, and is in much less pain. They have lessened his dose of morphine to 1 a day, and he is getting used to things in the hospital and starting to sleep well. Please continue to pray for his healing, and for him the time to pass quickly for him, that he will sleep at night, and be able to go toilet easily, and not be afraid. Thank you all so much x

Owen is in Hospital

I want to ask you all to pray for Owen. He fell while jumping off some steps in a child’s play park, and broke his thigh bone, (his femur). At the moment he is in hospital with Filz,where he will have to be for 4-6 weeks. I am unable to stay there with him as baby Alice, is only 7 weeks old. Owen is in excruciating pain which he is receiving oral morphine for. It's quite an emotional and difficlt time for us so thank you for any prayers you send our way. Amber xxx
